Hi! I’m Erin!

I am a scouse illustrator based in Liverpool who works with delicate digital illustrations and collage, primarily in black and white. I love to combine different textures with my illustrations to add depth and creativity in my work, one of my biggest artistic inspirations has always been Lauren Child as I really enjoy her use of so many different patterns to create such vivid worlds. I always create and gather all my own textures and materials to collage with. I’ve experimented with mark making with ink and ink rollers and have been able to collate many different textures I can pull from and use. I often scan items in to include in my work whether these be materials, jewellery or plants. My work revolves around topics or issues that I feel I can personally relate to such as class, mental illness, childhood and nostalgia. I’m passionate about working class individuals having equal access to an arts education and experience, this is something I have explored through my work already and is something I would love to go further with.
